How-To Survive PVP Ganks in WoW
Most classes hate me for choosing the rogue class (undead of course). But, you need to realize that even
rogues can get ganked at times. We can't farm mobs in stealth. It's much easier to survive as a rogue,
but all classes can increase their chance of survival by following these simple tips:
- Always stay prepared - These techniques work for just about any game. But, there are so many people
that don't use every means available to survive. The most important thing would be health potions. There is no shame in
survival. If you are being attacked while fighting a mob, try to finish the mob as quickly as you can if it's almost
dead, pop an instant health potion, and engage your enemy.
- Judge your enemy as quickly as possible and react accordingly - If you are being attacked by a skull( character with a
much higher level than yourself), try to get away if you can. Some classes can take skulls, but most can't. If you have
any stun, fear, or sleep abilities, use them before running.
- There is safety in numbers - I'm sure you have heard this phrase before, because it's true. Even if you don't have
any friends on the server, try to find areas where a few other people in your alliance are leveling. At worst, the ganker may go after
the other people instead of you. At best, all of you gang up on the enemies and kill them.
- Choose your leveling location before you begin grinding - Common sense would tell you not to level in an area
that is swarmed by the enemy. Ask some of the high level players in the area or your friends where you should level.
- Equip your character with the best gear you can and learn how to properly play your character - It doesn't
matter if you have the best equipment if you don't know how to play your character.
In Lineage 2, engage in friendly wars with other clans, head to the arena, and kill as often as you can. In WoW, make sure you use all of the resources available to you
(Thistle tea, mana pots, heal pots, pvp trinkets, interface options, legal macros, etc.). If you don't use these items, your enemy will...
The first thing I would do is download the insomniax add-on. You can grab it at curse-gaming (google search..). It is a compilation of
various tools that will make your life easier. Once you learn how to use them properly, download more macros or mods for your
specific class.
Is this cheating?
No, blizzard has approved the use of mods.
Now that you know all of this, you need to know how to level in the most efficient manner for any game. You will have
