I Know What’s Best for You!

Tuesday, January 15th, 2008

Tobold from Tobold’s MMORPG Blog writes:
“There has been some discussion lately in the MMO blogosphere whether game developers should listen more to the proposals from players and bloggers on how to improve their games. Hey, I get 3,000 readers a day, I’m obviously qualified to improve a game with 9 million subscribers and annual revenues […]

MMORPG Blog Regurgitation

Monday, January 14th, 2008

As I was sitting here thinking about interesting things to write about in the MMORPG world, I decided to take a look at a few other sites to see what people are talking about. Most of the bloggers out there are talking about things that we have discussed years ago…
Antisocial behavior
Carebear BS - raiding, […]

2Moons - Next PVP MMORPG?

Tuesday, October 16th, 2007

Well, it looks like there is a new pvp oriented MMORPG awaiting official release. I won’t say much about the game for now since we haven’t had enough time to truly test the waters, but I will let you know a few tidbits:
- It’s free - Revenue will be earned through the purchase of […]

Buying a Nintendo Wii - Impossible?

Wednesday, August 8th, 2007

This is *slightly* off-topic…
Recently, I decided to buy a few next generation console systems. I thought there is no way the Wii is **that** hard to find considering it has been out for almost a year already. WRONG!
I called so many stores searching for this damn gaming system. The Nintendo Wii is selling out […]

It’s that time again to discuss the next generation MMORPGs. For the next few days, we will look at the newest MMORPGs destined to hit the market.
First up:
Grand Theft Auto World
I was able to sit down and talk to Rockstar North Executive producer Leslie Benzies about their new title. Here is what she […]

Darkfall, Where art thou?

Monday, June 25th, 2007

Disclaimer:
The following blog entry contains more bitching and complaining from a frustrated mmorpg player. Viewer discretion is advised.
If you haven’t read about Darkfall, head to darkfallonline.com. This game has been in development for way to long (6 years? or more?) There are companies receiving 2.3 million dollars or more from venture capitalist to […]

MMORPG Burnout

Thursday, June 14th, 2007

World of Warcraft, Lineage 2, Star Wars Galaxies, Dark Age of Camelot, Ultima Online…
What do these games have in common? Each one of these games have people in them.
“What the hell are you talking about this time Tayman?”
It doesn’t matter how much I love the game, there is always at least one […]

Darkfall @ E3

Thursday, May 18th, 2006

Unknowing from The Combine guild, an old school pvp crew, spent some time at this year’s E3 with the developers of Darkfall. You can read the entire article here. Every time I read something about Darkfall I get excited, but enough is enough. How many more years will pass before beta starts […]

Dell’s XPS M1710 gaming laptop

Wednesday, April 19th, 2006

Today Dell
dropped a new XPS gaming laptop in the form of the M1710. This rig
hauls up to a 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo T2600, 17-inch widescreen display, 512MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX graphics, 4GB
of DDR2 RAM, a 120GB SATA disk, dual-layer DVD combo drive, and an array of ports including Firewire, 6 x USB 2.0, DVI
and component video, S/PDIF digital audio out, hi-def sound with integrated sub, and 5-in-1 memory card reader. But
this type of performance ain’t cheap. A fully specced slab in Special Edition Formula Red "armor" will set
you back right around $5,000. Look out Velocity,
game’s on cuz.

[Thanks, Micum M]
