SOE will be running the show for a bit longer. Contracts are usually 3 years. Chances are, SOE will get the contract again, but who knows. I've seen the rumors about BIOWARE and a possible Star Wars MMOG. They're being pretty tight-lipped about it all. If they do create a new SWGish game, it won't be for a while. Ive noticed SOE have hired more staff and also FYI. When SWG was first released SOE released the contract terms of SWG whichstated that they had the license rights up until 2007 and are obliged to keep servers open for an extra year after the contract is up. That would be great I have been with SWG now from week one way back in I think it was 2002? the game had its ups and downs but there at the end when they changed the game or really remade the it 99% of people left. Even long time vets like myself and many many of my friends. So I will sit back and wait and see what bioware will come out with .
