Return to World Of Warcraft?

Well, I never officially left to begin with. I have a bad habit of keeping mmorpg accounts open for long periods of time even if I’m not actively playing them.

World of Warcraft is a great game, but it has it’s faults. Now that I have been 60 for quite some time, I can not deny the truth any longer. This is what happens when you hit 60:

Raid the same content over and over for a *chance* to acquire epic loot. Once you obtain this epic loot, you have no other use for it. The only thing you can do is wait for the next instance to grind for more useless epic loot.

Grind out pvp honor to reach High Warlord! Good luck! If you stop playing 12 hours a day for a week, you lose rank…and fast. I’m pretty sure most of the community would rather have a system that takes at least a year to reach High Warlord than a system that caters to those without jobs/lives/etc (or account people who share accounts). Once you reach high warlord, you can use your great items for… ? To kill the same people you have been killing by the thousands for months for no reason?

I guess you can finish all the quests you skipped on the way to 60…

Recently, (yesterday) I started playing again. The game (like all mmorpgs) is only fun for the pvp/pk enthusiasts if you love to test yourself over and over again. Even with a couple of months of rust, I was able to get great kill-death ratios in Arathi Basin. Playing with friends is usually the only thing that keeps you attached to mmorpgs lately.

So where does the pk go for “comfort”? The current goal for Karashur this year is to prove to the developers that there is a market for those who love *COMBAT IN A WAR BASED MMORPG*.
