Will the real pvpers please stand up?
Well, Ferox is pretty much dead atm. Most people have left and only a few remain. I’m not sure when I will /gquit.
There is a little more to the story, but I won’t spread the clan leaders personal life out there.
But where are the player killers? You know, the old school veteran who enjoys the suffering of others ad nauseum. People have turned the “grind”to high warlord into some kind of loot whoring campaign. If/when I get High Warlord, do you think I would stop pvping? Hell no!
PVE is ok every now and then, but until the developers of mmorpgs decide to actually put some AI into the encounters, its not much fun.
You want me to pve? Create an instance for both alliance and horde. In this instance (or world encounter) have the alliance side kill a difficult group of horde enemies + boss and vice versa. These enemies protect an evil creature that makes his way to one of the major cities to wreak havoc once a week (if the faction is able to kill the protectors).
If you didn’t understand that, here is the short version:
Alliance kills boss
Creature of Chaos makes his way across the land to Org or another city.
Creature kills shit
Horde must defend
Alliance can assist the creature (can’t attack creature).
You want to really spice things up? Make Thrall drop recipes or parts for legendary items…he is a legendary character right? Same for the other faction bosses.
Either way, I’ll probably be solo for a long time.
