Well i got a few questions about Darkfall.
I belive that i read that you had access to the beta server already.
So where is the beta server located?
Do you belive that the retail server will be on the same location, maybe even same server? (i think i read that they would only make 1 server)
How close on "OB" / Release do you thing it is?
Are such programs as ACTool blocked?

I signed up for the clan beta 50 years ago. We gotta sign up again for this beta?
I'm already pumped for Warhammer. Darkfall is going to need to bring some unbelievable shit to change my mind.
They are fuckin' 3 years late and I'm pissed. |

Well idd say it so...people already got hooked and preordered Warhammer Online....maybe if Warhammer fails it will actually have aa chance...so the timing is simply bad imo
And conciddering what i heared about warhammer...well...tough luck Darkfall online |

The only thing that is really tearing me apart right now is the skill involved in the game.
It looks like there will be way more skill required to play Darkfall than any other pvp mmo.
I guess we will wait and see. |

We all signed up the first time and yes we have to sign up again  We are still going to jump into WAR since it does have that pre release head start just for pre ordering (ala Guild Wars) but if you watch the FULL trailer end to end, you'll see some "unbelievable shit" that's not currently in any MMO. It's been a long time coming, but I think it will be worth it. |

How is this any different than the "clan beta?" They promised that years ago and it never happened. Now they put some bullshit beta registration up, doesn't mean the game is going to come out in 3 months.
I hope everyone doesn't get too excited for darkfall, it sounds great, but I'm not very hopeful for it coming out anytime this year. |

| You're right Benji, it's no different than that "clan beta" especially since none of us got in. The lucky sobs that did get in are probably in the damn trailer! What is different this time is that they have the guts to slap a fat 2008 on the trailer and there are only so many months (4 including this one) left before the end of this year. All I'm saying is everyone watch the whole trailer thing, develop your own "hype" level for it, and remember we are all still jumping into Warhammer. |

I'm already addicted to WHO...
But, I know I will play Dark Fall when(if?) it comes out.
I've already upgraded my ram to 4 gigs (although Win XP is only using 3 gigs atm....anyone have experience with 64bit XP?)
Upgrading my internet connection on the 20th to 10MB up and 10MB down.
Whenever NVidia answers ATI with a DDR5 graphics card, I'll probably go all the way and buy 2 for SLI ridiculousness.
I haven't been this serious about an MMO in a long time. |

No, it was fluid.
The only problems I had were the CTDs (crash to desktop)
They pissed me off more than anything. The game looks great with medium quality graphics(everyone was forced to use medium quality for the preview weekend) I can just imagine what it looks like with the graphics set to the highest level.
Gotta take the ownage to the next level Benman. I would love to be able to post high res Fraps movies on Youtube or whatever. The Benman/Tayman combo will be world famous. |

I think you should roll Disciple of Khaine and see how you like it.
Open beta will start this Sunday. The characters you create will be wiped before headstart, so you might as well try as many as you can.
I will try to spend the time leveling the witch elf to 20 as fast as possible. We really need to focus on figuring out how to become extremely rich in the game. That is always helpful in any mmo. |
