Somehow, sometime during my extended trip to the great big patch of desert that we like to invade once a decade or so...I was unable to log into these forums. I assumed it had been wiped of old defunct usernames. Alas...I was wrong. here it is 7 months later, my username and password worked like a champ.
So with all that said...bleh.
Just thought I would drop in, say hi to some old friends, although I don't know who all is still here.
I have quit playing L2 - Once I got back from the mid-east and read all the "improvements" in C4 I couldn't bring myself to start the grind again. After having lost almost 6 months of time I knew I was way behind the power curve.
The guys at work talked me into playing WoW. Which I enjoy since I can grind at my leisure and if I take a day or two off to have a normal life for a while, I don;t feel like I fell behind the curve too much. Double XP FTW!!
That's basically it in a nutshell.

| Basically things are going good. I am enjoying single life again and being a single parent at the same time. it is hectic and busy and doesn't lend itself to the L2 grind lifestyle. Hence the switch to WoW. I miss the open PvP though. So many times I have been in a PuG and wanted to kill my party members for being teh gayness. I have characters on Detheroc and on Wildhammer. Most of my guild left on Detheroc so i did too and rerolled on Wildhammer. In a good end-game guild, i just need to level a little quicker. |
