Your First PK Experience

How would you describe the first time you killed (or were killed by) someone in an online game?

Were you afraid?
Did you choke?
Did you dry loot and /emote rape the corpse?

Its what hooked me to the game, cuz it was fun to turn that deep red color and suddenly have to deal with your actions by becoming unred. So much attention was paid to you also..lol

I dont remember who it was, the first time it was an accident, cuz WC's cast so slow the person turned white before I could finish casting..lol

When I was in college, I was mudding with a terminal & keyboard dorm room pluggin. It was a green screen on a college pepper server with just words. To move, you typed: N, S, E, W. I was clearing out an area for XP and this other guy was doing the same in the area I was in. I typed, "attack tayman" and after a few rounds he was dead. On the screen, it shouts: "Tormentor just killed Tayman" and everyone knows in the game that anyone can kill me for so many ticks and if I'm killed my corpse can be looted. They way it worked is, the person who gets PK'ed as a chance to go back and retrieve his corpse, but has to do it within so many ticks or the corpse will dissolve and all the loot can be picked up. I was so scared I was typing, n, n, n, n, e, e, e, e, n, n, n, n, as fast as I could. From then on, I was an addict.

my first pk experiences were in Diablo 1. I never played Diablo 1 single player when I first got it, I just went straight to multiplayer. It was the first RPG type game I had ever played online. I played plenty of Duke Nukem 3d and Doom online. Well my cousin and I created a public game, pretty much the first game I played of Diablo. Another guy joined us when we were on the second level. He asked if we wanted help and we said sure. He came down helped us a bit then hit me with a fireball. Killed me in one hit. I was pretty much in shock, I thought this was supposed to be a friendly game. Then I see my cousin trying to run away. He gets hit with a fireball and dies in one hit too. As I watch my cousin try to escape but fall helpless to the pk I was laughing so hard in my chair. That was when I knew I was going to be a pk. Been pk'ing ever since. Doesn't matter what level, noob or not I will kill it. I have Diablo to thank for that.

My first pk was in Diablo but I don't remember the specifics.
